I doubt if I’ll go back and read the dailies for the last two weeks since I think this is a boring strip anyway.(Judge Parker) But this story is worth going back and getting caught up. Phantom – I’m sure Hero could gallop if P. wanted him to; maybe he wants to spend some time with the Kid for altruistic reasons. Apt. 3-G – …and another strip goes to the hospital! Alas, the possible storyline that LuAnn & Paul are long-lost brother & sister has been interrupted. Rex Morgan – Rex is at the hospital with Foster (discussing myocarditis). Mary Worth – Mary is at the hospital with Drew (discussing Liza). Mark Trail – I agree with woodworker318; it was a bit too easy for the real culprit (his own son) to fool the sheriff. Judge Parker – Maybe Emma’s going to end up in the hospital (for psychiatric evaluation). BTW, didn’t Abbey’s daughter spot someone else on the roof? Who’s there? FoxTrot – Marcus says “There must be some mistake.” (“Debe haber agun error!.”)

You don’t know what forgotten memories you brought back by mentioning the Kapok Tree. It got my mind working and the signature drink that they had was called a “Hurricane something”. It was supposed to be strong like a hurricane. It was a big seller. The big deal was that you got to keep the “free” glass with their name on it. For what the drink cost, you paid for the glass. I know that my wife had to have one.
Thanks for the like to the glass. Yes, that seems to be the shape of the glass as far as I can remember. It looks like only the Clearwater place had them. As I remember the food was good. I think we had prime rib. Other places we went to when we were in Ft. L. was a French restaurant called Les Reserve (I think thats how you spell it) and the Brewmaster. Both had excellent food. I suppose they both are gone now. Thank you for bringing back some forgotten memories.
