Transcript:
Young boy 1: Hey, look who made the out! Young boy 2: It's Calvin! Calvin: Heck, it was nothing, guys. When you're in top physical condition like me, you can... Young boy 1: You moron! What were you doing in the outfield?! It's a new inning! We're up to bat! Calvin: Huh? Young boy 1: You caught the ball for the wrong team! You got our own guy out! What a dweeb! What a jerk! What an idiot! Calvin: Oops. I dropped the catch. It doesn't count now, right? Young boy 2: Get him off our team, Mr. Lockjaw! Young boy 1: Can I hit him with the bat? Please? Please??

Sports as a televised competitive thing are dumb. Sports for recreation are alright. As long as it’s fun.

Get out of there, Calvin!

Yep—because the rest of the team supported Calvin, even by looking out for the newbie, and reminding him of what he should be doing. So blame him for not knowing what nobody told him.

Calvin should just go up to Mr Lockjaw and say, “Thanks for that, coach! I’m out!” While throwing down his mitts.
