Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for August 04, 1991
Transcript:
Calvin: We've got a baby sitter tonight. Calvin: Ready? Hobbes: Ready. Mom: Calvin, the baby sitter is here! We're going! Be good, ok? Rosalyn: Hi there. You must be Calvin. Calvin: Hmmph. Calvin: Your not my mom. So I don't have to do anything you say. I'm going to do whatever I feel like, so just stay out of the way. Rosalyn: Calvin, take a look by the telephone and tell me what you see. Calvin: A note mom left with emergency numbers. Rosalyn: Right. Now you wouldn't want me to have to call any of those numbers, would you? Calvin: Well, it must be 6:30. Guess I'll turn in. Rosalyn: For eight bucks a night, I don't put up with much.
