I tend to subvert the people who like Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and Justin Bieber by playing music from the 1980s and 1990s.

I don’t follow Lady Gaga at all. I at least consider a few of her songs to be pretty decent.

After the fine music of the 50-80’s, I figured ‘alternative’ would exercise their ‘rebelliousness’ with tuneful farting and stomping. Not far wrong. Well, it’s the participation medal generation anyway.

While touring, Weezer invited “Weird Al” Yankovic to play with them on stage for Africa. The video is on YouTube if you want to see it.

The Rock Stars are now 75 year old Zillionaires.

I play my classical muzak while imagining the extreme reaction such music got when it was first introduced. One dissonant piece in particular caused rioting throughout Paris at its first concert.

So what others hear as mellow is sparking an internal revolution.
