Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for March 15, 1992
Transcript:
Calvin: When are we going to get there? Can't you drive any faster?? Dad: I don't like to go much faster than this. Calvin: Can I drive then? I'll bet I could go real fast! Dad: Hmm...well, ok, sure. I'll pull over. Calvin: Don't worry about a thing, Dad! Which pedal is the clutch? Dad: The left one. Then brake, then gas. Calvin: Here we go! Hang on! Mom: Ooh, this is faster! Dad: Blow the horn! Make everyone get out of our way! Mom: Wheee! We're airborn! Dad: We'll get there in no time now! Calvin: We should've done this sooner! Dad: I wonder how fast we're going. Calvin: Can't say. We broke the speedometer. Mom: This is the only way to travel. Mom: We're passing that jet! Dad: Way to go, Calvin! Calvin: I like driving! Sighhhh. How much longer now? Dad: I told you we'll get there when we get there.
