Sort of similar situation: I was dating the woman who would become my wife & weād discussed staying together & marriage, but not right now. So I bided my time for a few more months until one time I came over & her journal was conveniently opened to a page where she knew Iād find it saying, āIām tired of being just his āgirlfriendā. I want more!ā. So, I made my plans of proposal: the next month was February & I proposed on Valentineās Day. She said āYesā & weāve been married 8 years this coming October.
