I hate the flavor lighter fluid imparts to grilled/BBQ’d food.

One of the more disappointing things about the passage of time. Lighter fluid doesn’t go “foomp” any more. It just ignites near the match, and then the flame slowly spreads.
It no longer aerosolizes at room temperature like in the good old days.
