Why do we risk life and limb in a vertical free fall, when we could be safe at home by the fire? Because it is man's imdomitable nature to scare himself silly for no good reason! Hobbes: If you make it home to the fire, you can tell me how it was. Calvin: See? This is why there were never any great animal explorers!
