Dear Chris Jennings: There’s nothing that can be done about it. You’re cursed as a werewolf because your ancestor Quentin Collins killed his wife Jenny. He didn’t know Jenny’s sister was Magda and she cursed him as a werewolf not knowing that there had been 2 children born to them who would inherit the curse. In spite of Barnabas and Julia’s best efforts they won’t be able to help you and you’ll remain cursed. It’s unfair to you since you did nothing to deserve this. Quentin was able to nullify his curse due to a portrait painted by Charles Delaware Tate commissioned by Count Petofi who had some very nefarious reasons for wanting it (a body switch with Quentin due to the fact that Quentin was drop dead gorgeous), the portrait took on Quentin’s curse and aging as well so at the age of 100 Quentin was still drop dead gorgeous. But for you, alas, there is no help. I’m really sorry.

Dark Shadows was right in the middle of that storyline when I first discovered the show on a local Detroit station in 1985
