That’s what I thought. I like a man in a beard but it must be neat and that takes time. At first it’s prickly and you don’t want to kiss him. Then when it’s grown out nicely it can take as long for him to trim it as it used to take to shave.
My wife wouldn’t “let” me shave my facial hair even though I don’t like it because of the care required, but since she died in March I can’t bring myself to shave it off.
