In the context of a British cartoon, especially one about a greedy dog, the meaning of ‘faggot’ is obviously a sort of large offal meatball smothered in gravy. Fred would die for one… but what that has to do with his mistress meditating eludes me.

Indeed, although they have mispelt it . Although it also means a bundle of firewood which in the US is spelt that way.
start the day off relaxed - just looking at it, is relaxing. Evidently Fred has been napping while the meditating is happening.
Why should you worry Fred? When you take your naps you don’t move either.
