Boldyuma,the Peanuts characters have been used to sell lots of products long before MetLife. Dolly Madison snack cakes,Wonder Bread, even Ford Motors. Some of these I remember when I was a little older,others are a total revelation to me. Using well-known cartoon characters to sell products is a time-honored practice in advertising. The Peanuts characters weren’t the first to be used for this purpose,but they were/are the best known.
