I agree with Night-Gaunt that Trout is always realistic. In her own weird way shes very pragmatic, and hanging around with Agnes, she shows she’s not squeamish.Mysticism would hardly appeal.I’ve known people rather like that – they laugh at my “girly” reaction to blood, spooky stuff and bugs.Some of them grew up to be doctors or EMTs.
