Actually, it’s pretty good. (Thanks Caufield!). How many songs have you heard about road construction and traffic delays? There is a fine line between country and blues. I do assume they are reciting random phrases from the song, because they don’t rhyme. BTW, what’s a loos?

The “End Construction” signs that the construction crews put up always makes me think of protest signs.

Lew, they are actually very similar. They both have the 1, 4, 5 chord structure, they both are done in 3/4 or 4/4 time. Not sure what you are saying about the vocals, but both depend heavily on what is being described in the song. In both, the words are almost everything. And any song from either genre could be turned into a jazz improv that would make you flip your wig and leave you with your hair on backwards…
