No, Lio, an exorcist is supposed to get rid of spirits, not take them home as pets!

I don’t think ghosts need breathing holes on the cover… I love how the firefly and ghost sporting different colours :P

What a catch! I bet the other kids are really envious! I know I am—sure, I caught some ’lightning bugs" back in the day, but never glow-ghosts!

In the early 60s, Denise the Menace comic books said we could’ “Be patriotic. Help science. Make money. Collecting fireflies” Never met a kid who made a dime.

I gotta thank you, Dogsniff, for recommending Argyle Sweater and Lio to me. MANY of these are keepers.

Who ya gonna call? If there’s something strange in your neighborhood, it might be Lio.

Why would the ghosts need air holes in the lid of the jar?

I have not seen a firefly in many-many years. Do they still exist? Perhaps our wide use of pesticides has made them extinct.

Happy to hear fireflys still exist somewhere. When I was a kid there were plenty here in south Texas at certain times of the year – but no more.

Maybe that’s the jar he caught his spider in… ya think?

__As for the ghosts, I’m just hoping these aren’t the nice ghosts who were telling Lio and Ishy deadtime stories last week. They were a scream.

These two don’t look like they’re having much fun.

I’m surprised that Lio’s dad lets him bring home a bottle of spirits; isn’t he too young for that?

@Fanolio -Saw some in early June at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg MD. Best part of the evening was sitting on a low wall, watching those little wonders buzz by. Thankfully, they still exist.
