Through all the rhetorical static, I’ve mostly heard Americans crying out for some hope of a future -sometimes in ways unflattering to themelves, and against their own better interests. That’s what desperation does to people. It renders them vulnerable to ignorance. Some capitalize on this. That’s how the few with the most, get the rest with the least, to do all the labor and absorb any suffering so,.. if they’re not working for your health, safety, education nor the general well being of your own neighbors, they’re probably not working for you.
