You obviously didn’t see the particular peanuts strip I was referring to. It ended up with just about the whole peanuts crew on Woodstock’s rink in his nest. Just a little crowded.
A lot of people around here build real hockey rinks with boards and lights. One guy even has a warming house. My neighbor tried it a couple of years, but the concept of ‘level spot’ eluded him.

At least it’s bigger than Woodstock’s rink. But it still may be a little crowded once you get all the players, referees and time keepers out there.

Hey it is backyard hockey… we don’t need no stinking time keepers…
Our only time keeper was The Red Skelton Show… the game came to an end when he came on…
