If you put twenty monkeys in a room with twenty typewriters they would eventually…put the pool together? What if you only have two monkeys and one “beast man?” With this crew, it doesn’t matter what language the instructions are written in, they aren’t going to read ‘em and they certainly won’t understand ‘em. Like my F-I-L used to say, "They couldn’t pour p*ss out of a boot with the instructions written on the heel."

I’ve been punished for my greed.I just HAD to read the whole strip.

Had I contented myself with one and three fifths panels, my happiness would have remained undisturbed.

But NO I just had to read every bit of both panels and now my eyes have seen things no mortal woman should have to endure.

I only hope I can forget. Poor

Forgot..@Mikie – in any case 20 monkeys would get it done before this crew.

And Becky from yesterday, thank you!

Sometimes instructions aren’t for us chickens——like on step #12 when it’ll say, “make sure when assembling step #8 that you blah—blah—blah”!!!!

Philosophy class quiz (for real grade points, too) given me had 20 detailed essay questions on it. the header line specified reading the entire exam before filling in any answers. #20 was “write your name into the space provided and return blank test to proctor”. oddly enough—or maybe not— the entire class flunked the quiz.

Doesn’t matter if you read the instructions or not, even follow them exactly. There will still be a piece missing! :-D

Why is he saying “To assemble for the little mirage and for the beast men?” Doesn’t make much sense. But then again something tells me Jerry may not be pronouncing it correctly. Who’d a thunk it?
