Sounds like his aim is pretty good.

For 2 cents I’d hit him in his mug, like Arnold hits Fred on the noggin (Flintstones).

“Seriously, is there anyplace in the U.S. that still uses children to deliver news papers?”a. Yes, but it’s not as common as it used to be. However…b. Daily FoxTrot is all reruns, and has been since 1-1-2007. You knew that, right?

Probably not, Media Overloaded MotherS are too afraid someone might abduct them (or they might stub a toe).

Odds are that Roger won’t even remember making that promise when he next goes out to get the morning paper. Of course, he could always do what Crankshaft did once:

The newspaper boy would never land the paper on the porch, so Crankshaft set up a series of hoops that lead up to the porch and told the kid that he would give him his tip each time he landed the paper into one of the hoops.

Five cents in 1990 US dollars is probably about $25 in current Amerikan Socialist dollars…

Moved in 10 years ago with my Dad (then 86). Papers never seemed to find the porch. Asked how much he tipped. He said he didn’t think he should tip for such bad service. I took over the tipping, and the papers have been on the porch ever since!
