The third option is to become a refugee. The first two require large mobs and pseudo-military action.

With three boys, democracy was not an option.

Most dictators don’t like it when there is ANY conversation, let alone when they take a turn like this.

Calvin should just walk away and self-exile himself to his room to watch tv. His parents will not know what to do with that. I used to stay in my room reading Dickens while my more rebellious sister got the dickens beaten out of her outside my room. Childhood, what a joy….
