No doubt it’s on loan from it’s sister strip The Wizard Of Id.

If Wolfie was my dog, he’s roll on it, then go look for a skunk to play with.

The dog in my picture did that. Repeatedly. And ate skunks.

Doesn’t look any worse than those funnels they put on dogs’ heads nowadays.

It takes longer than that to pay the vet bill. Give it a month and then the porcupines will be back in Texas.

I know a couple of dogs that think skunks are just strange looking dogs and are playmates. sigh. They also think the same things about cats and raccoons. At least they chase squirrels.

Cartoon technology rigidly adheres to the limits established by cartoon physics, the first law of which if it isn’t absurd or funny, it shouldn’t happen.By the way the bronze age had solid armour, a couple thousand years before the 13th century. And who’s to say that no one before then made solid armour out of some non-metallic material that just hasn’t endured to the present day? Bamboo or wood plates, perhaps?

It’s a good thing Wolfie found BC because in Darwin’s world he wouldn’t have lasted that long!

My Brittany was a great 5 minute hunt until that happened. What a dog, patient, miserable with my rage, but never bit me for pulling out barbed quills. Thanks veterinarians for cleaning up so many.

I don’t even want to address how many times some dogs go right back to the same scenario…with similar results. LOL
