Superman: Ok, now I know why the other superheroes wear masks.
Hey — how do you tell a happy superhero?
He’s got bugs stuck on his teeth?
It’s a good things cows don’t fly…
Needs goggles at least.
Bailey and Brightr — Yes! It’s an old joke: How do you tell a happy motorcyclist? By the bugs on his teeth!
Just had to paraphrase it when I saw this.
And gmartin and jack – thank you! My user name is just a joke or variation on my real name, and my avatar was very kindly drawn for me by Rodd Perry, of Brevity, of which I’m a huge fan.
why doesnt he just zap the flies with heat vision?
And it only took 70+ years to figure it out.
This would be why he holds his fist forward. It creates a jet stream to deflect bugs and debris.
It was a lovely summer’s day and I pushed my visor up as I rode my motorbike along a country road amongst the fields.
A large fly at 65 mph causes a lovely bloodshot eye.
The moment spent coming to a halt so I could wipe the bits of wing and body and yellow gunk from my eye, dragged on for a loooong time.
