the biblical problem is similar to why there is a 3:1 majority of boys in egypt. girls cost money (dowery) and boys inherit/gain doweries and rights of the family, so….infanticide is commonly accepted. men walking along holding hands is not considered odd there either. heh.
“Pregnant”? Sure doesn’t look like it. SERIOUS edema or Cellulitis in the legs? – BOY HOWDY!! And, yes, massaging the edema or Cellulitis legs really would help.Someone should ask him, “Did you know that the word ‘Gullible’ isn’t in the dictionary?”
dfowensby: That’s the problem with eisegesis, (reading into scripture) rather than exogesis (interpreting what is in there). You are combining separate passages without regard to context. One involves rules of hospitality, the other the misogynous attitudes that women were of minor importance. Therefore there can be no cause and effect connection.

Well… there was foot washing in the Bible, and the vast majority of the births recorded in the Bible were boys… so… maybe she’s on to something.
