Luann: Remember that time when I was a little kid and I jumped into a swimming pool and tried to swim but I didn't know how? Luann: I thrashed around and got all panicky and started sinking. I held my breath, closed my eyes and desperately tried to get to the edge. Luann: I kicked and paddled like crazy til I couldn't hold my breath a second longer-then I hit the side with my face, dragged myself out of the pool, got dizzy, stubbed my toe and fell in a rosebush. Dad: Excuse me, Luann. what does this have to do with anything? Luann: You asked me how I was doing in school.
