Luann and her mother, Nancy, are putting dishes away. Nancy frowns as she asks, "You're not getting serious about this Stuart boy, are you?" Luann replies, "Could be. We sure clicked." Nancy says, "Luann, you're 16. He's 21." Luann replies, "So? You're 42. Dad's 50. Give me one reason wh-". Frank is heard yelling from off-panel, "I'M ONLY 49!!" Luann and Nancy look in the direction of Frank's voice. Luann says, "Shee. He's sure getting crabby in his old age." Nancy folds her arms and says, "Need another one?"

I’ll give you a reason why you just can’t date him. You’re a minor. He’s a legal adult. if you date each other and get into serious trouble, he would go to jail for sexualizing you and get registered as a child sex predator. This is serious. It’s okay if you have a crush on him (that’s very normal for anyone around your own age) but it would be more difficult for you and him if you were to date him.
