Luann and Frank are sitting on her bed. She says, "Dad, I've failed that stupid driving test TWICE!" Frank says, "You get one more try, hon. I'm sure you'll pass." Luann asks, "But what if I DON'T? My entire social life will fizzle! My popularity will be zip! People will laugh at the 'failure freak' who has to ride her bike forever!" Frank responds, "But think how you'll be helping the environment." Luann gives her father a withering look. Frank raises his hand and says, "Kidding!"

Here in Canada, you do the written test first, then if you pass, they give you your learner’s permit (If you fail, you have to pay for a new written test until you pass) , 2 months later you take a driving test, if you fail you take it as many tries as you need…(And like the written test, you pay each time….what a rip-off! Gov cash grab!)
