Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for March 10, 2001
Transcript:
Luann: "Why'd you want to protect Tiffany? Do you LOVE her?" Miguel: "Yes, just as I love you, Luann, and Delta." Miguel: "Women to me are very special. They are to be honored and protected. This is the way I was raised." Miguel: In America, there is much conflict, men do not understand women, women do not trust me. Everyone is selfish, angry and mean. There is no room for romance." Luann: "Am I selfish, angry and mean?" Miguel: "Yes, Luann, but only on the outside. Inside, you have much love, waiting to come out."

Luann is selfish and mean sometimes. She’s also flighty, moody, and insensitive.

i hate this misogynic stuff. what he said is just so stereotypical, it’s like saying that women can’tstand up for themselves and work hard to make themselves happy. i am a woman and i would say ridiculous on this strip. judgement much, greg & karen evans?
