Even though Satchel has one more tile than he’s supposed to have, according to The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary, Quixotic is a valid word.

This is an old one. Classic but still old. What’s going on?

Quixotic – enthusiastic for visionary ideals; extravagantly generous and chivalrous. Yep. a real word.

This strip reminds me vividly of one friend amongst my Scrabble buddies who would occasionally take umbrage at a play and smack the board, scattering tiles about the room much in the manner that my Scrabble buddies and I are now scattered. This bran of humor on Bucky’s part is very well known, it would seem.
