Nancy sits at the kitchen table with a Playboy magazine. Frank microwaves a cup of coffee. Nancy says, "So Brad borrowed this Playboy to read an article... NOT to drool over the photos.." Frank says, "Feel better now?" Nancy says, "He didn't seem interested in the photos at all." Frank says, "Guess you can stop worrying about-" Nancy raises her eyebrows. Nancy says, "Honey...!" Frank says, "Oh, NOW what?"

No question to what they were implying, but Greg probably wouldn’t have had Nancy react to the possibility of Brad being gay with such alarm a few years (decades?) later.
