Surely Trudie has seen this behavior before.

First the collapse of the collapsable end table, and now this. Trudie was bemused, and quietly flummoxed.

And that will be the end of the pretty little tea gown.

Trudie doesn’t really look too disquieted. I have a feeling she’s heard this before.

maybe she’s in shock…..?

Disquieting because Trudie’s told him time after time NOT to do this.

I suppose the I should be capitalised, but perhaps it is intended as a filter. To discourage readers who can’t negotiate the contraction from reading the strip.

Trudy says, get your own pretty tea gowns (I left out the “little”.)
