But 2-3 minutes was faster than a week at the photo lab.Does anyone else remember waving the picture in the air to get it to dry faster? My Dad had one of the early Poloroid cameras where you had to peel off the back after the picture developed. If you peeled too soon, you only got half a picture.

I remember how instant used to mean 2-3 minutes back in the 20th century.
