@ Tony, like many other readers I have never watched that or other singing/dancing shows; we have no good music since 50s and 60s. I also don’t care to see young people getting drunk and fighting on other shows I’ve heard about- but “reality” such as cooking competitions as well as fashion design are always fun for me- I’ve saved many seasons to DVD for eventuality that I may have to cut cable from my budget.. Those could keep me entertained for a decade or more.

Idol is actually pretty interesting, more than I can say for the average Daddy’s Home daily offering.
