america back in 1915 was a different society. minorities were denied opportunities, women did not have right to vote, big corporations got away with murder and wanted less regulation, and had overseas possessions with a military presence. the only difference since then is that women have the right to vote, but republicans want to get rid of that too.
Building a world that works for everyone is challenging when so many people want a world that works only for them, or who are willing to label large segments of the population as “other” or “irrelevant.” We have made social progress since the beginning of the 20th century, but we have far to go.
Oh, and Pab, it’s time to reign in your crazy relatives.
“Heliocentrism becomes dangerous if it is being propped up as the true system when, in fact, it is a false system,” said Robert Sungenis, leader of a budding movement to get scientists to reconsider. “False information leads to false ideas, and false ideas lead to illicit and immoral actions — thus the state of the world today.”

Reminds me of a bit from Sanford & Son, when Fred was reporting a robbery:
(Officer) “Were [the robbers] colored?”
(Fred) “Yeah, white!”
