When i was a teenager, I sometimes had TV dinners when the family was out (I stayed home for a summer job). I remember reading the directions and they use to include how to arrange the food on a dinner plate if you were serving guests. I use to wonder who would invite someone to dinner and try to pass a TV dinner for a home cooked meal?That was of course before I met the Pennys. I see they have their tables set. Amazing how they cooked the food and everyone has the same portions. Of course if you want more potatoes you have to have more corn and Salisbury steak and the brownie that is a strange triangular shape.

BTW: You will have to tell me some of the commands to and spacing to your comments and changing the type for bold Italic, etc. I tried doing an Alt-I for italics and that didn’t work.

Yep—they’re HTML tags.< b > < / b >< i > < / i >Not sure what all tags GoComics supports, but these are bold and itallic—just take out the spaces in between each character. Had to add spaces, otherwise, they wouldn’t show up, I’m sure.

I have to try that, if find it is where I think, one line is too light.

My mother hated cooking, but somehow decided to make Thangsgiving dinner (and I ate, but was not there to cook and I know there were at least some cousins there, because I have a clear memory of my older cousin Bruce saying “It’s not bad Aunt Dottie, I like the cunchy peas”. She did Swanson’s Turkey and burnt them… Maybe I was in 6th grade because I took over the cooking when in 7th grade.

On this site, for some reason, you can just put asterisks touching each side of a word or phrase to make it bold. Don’t leave a space.

You do need the HTML tag for italic.

line breaks are made with br inside angle brackets at the beginning.

BTW I’ve answered before about formatting but the problem is nobody comes back to read it by the time I get to post.

When I was a young teenager we got tv dinners when my parents went out, which was rare.

We thought of it as a treat, because we never saw them otherwise, they were kinda cute, and companies hadn’t figured out yet how to make a pile of assorted colors, soy and chemicals into something that looks almost like food.
