OK, LIz. You stay in your house and Jon will stay in his tonight.

This is the reason we have several TVs in the house. I can watch cartoons, documentaries and science programmes while the other half is occupied with 60’s music, talent shows, dancing and football.

Part of what makes a true relationship is simply being together sharing an experience, even if only one of you grooves on it…the being together is what matters..If you only want to do what you want to do, you may as well get used to being alone in life, because (short of cloning) you’ll never find someone who has all of your likes and dislikes. And learning to tolerate a little tedium for the sake of your other’s happiness is a part of the process of love..Besides, figure skating is pretty cool. Like dancers and gymnasts, they’re usually young, cute, and can do things with their bodies that make me feel like a member of another species. :)
