I never had a dog eat my homework, but one night the cat peed on it and it was due that next morning. I dried it with a hair dryer, put it in plastic protectors and taped them shut, and turned it in with an explanation. Got a good grade and an appreciative note from the teacher, who didn’t have to actually touch/smell it.
