Anything that falls on the floor or on the dog is the property of the dog. That would be you Fred. Yum. I could go for a “Jammy Sandwich” myself.

Unfortunately, there’s this law of physics that states that the bread always falls with the “jammy” side down! It was written by O’Toole! It’s a corollary of O’Toole’s first law, which is “Murphy was a bloody optimist!”

Now Fred’s going to need a bath.

MythBusters did this one too (not with ‘jammy’ though). It was about 50-50 unless you buttered extra hard and put a divet in your bread.

Or in this case, covered in jam. I don’t think Fred thinks its lucky – its landed a bit far forward of where he can easily lick and he probably knows it means bathtime.

He should have anticipated and moved – thus becoming a Jammie Dodger
