I watched Charlie Brown Halloween DVD last night. Much better without the commercials. Vince Guaraldi sound track is great, carried over from the Christmas special. I got a rock.
We all have a touch of Linus in us… every year, about this time, they always put three-packs of caramel apples out for sale. Every year, they turn out to be apples whose cores are so rotten the sticks won’t stay in the cores. They’re not worth the hassle of taking them back, but also not worth the trouble of nibbling the good part from around the center. I just cut off the candy and peanut “rind” area and eat that, and wonder why they can’t find a better delivery system than dipping a rotten apple in it. Maybe a graham cracker or something.
