Agree with Jack. I haven’t nor never will but three days of buildup to the ceremonies, the “threats” on the anniversary which happens every year, I am quite tired hearing and reading about it. Besides, does anyone believe they would try an attack when more people are alert and extra security everywhere? No. If and when, it will be when our eyes are closed and our pants are down.
t1warren: believe me when i tell you that i remember that day like it was yesterday… i wasn’t in NYC or Pennsylvania or Washington, but i was just as confused and scared as everyone in the country. who knew when or if there were going to be more attacks? who knew if some other part of the infastructure was going to get hit? at the time i was just starting my work as an editorial cartoonist…after that day i lived, breathed, ate and slept those attacks. every single day i let my pen do my talking, trying to make some sense out of that which was senseless. every single day. just because i choose not to commemorate a horrific day in my panel does not mean for even half a second that i’ve forgotten or do not care. i remember, i reflect and i cry. as original Mercury 7 astronaut wally schirra once said, “you’re sad. you mourn the loss. but you don’t wear the black armband forever.”

You would think after all the talk about 9-11 there would be something in all the strips today. Guess some people don’t care.
