Sally sounds like a mentally ill woman in her 40’s. The Peanuts kids never acted like kids are suppose to. I suppose that’s the way Charles M. Schulz wanted them to be. But I still think Linus and Rerun are real sweet.
Just another example of the inverse relationship between intelligence and happiness. If you’re smart enough to ponder the big questions of existence, not only will you be frustrated in finding answers, but will probably be unable to be happy with what you DO know about human existence on earth. Dumb people don’t worry about the futility of life. All they care about is enjoying the present.
