I think that the Penny’s will be on the ‘Teletubbies’ cruise, SNERK!!!

Talk about telegraphing a punch! I can see the Annual Report item now, “Special Charge against earnings, the Pennys.” Burl and Joy will literally eat the ship empty!

Morning all!I notice Sunshine isn’t here yet. I think she was sidetracked on the way here. Did anyone see her at the buffet?I was too busy hiding bread sticks in my pocket to notice who else was there.

Then why would he ask about gambling if he hates it?

That part escapes me… Luckily this strip could be read with the current “magnifier”.

I don’t see any Old Country Buffet on the map when you go to their home page. Apparently they own Ryans (which there are a lot) and Home Town Buffet. Not sure if it’s anything like Old Country Buffet. Actually I used to like Old Country Buffet because you could pick up fairly healthy food without overeating and all at one price that included the drink. They also had a chocolate cake like my mom used to make. We called it upsidedown chocolate cake. When the cake was finished, there was a gooey chocolate sauce on the bottom – delicious and very rich. Our area no longer has Old Country Buffet but we do have Ryans which I go to about once every 10 years.

JOY is enjoyijng….. the free coffee………. Hummm coffee – that sounds good………! !

Grog beat me with shorter posting. I see they recommend a cut price airline; poster has something leaking from the plane. The card with “acual prices” faces the agent. He also has photos to show clients (which are probably from cruises of some legitimate line – with the name whited out).

I know people can hardly wait to go the the resort in Jamaica, Georgia which is right next to a noisy expressway.

I can see an inside cabin, seven decks down and over the engine room on their cruise. But there are 24/7 buffets and they’ll leave with more in their bags than they came on board with. In other words; a completely successful vacation.

There’s more than one, we’ve got one around here, too, and it is GOOD!

Anyone else notice Dream Cruises at the top of the “Empty Cruises” list on his desk? Food is offered free with gambling as an incentive to spend more. I think the Dream folks will be cringing when Joy and Burl hit the buffet!

Same costume my Mom used to make me — a sheet with holes in it. Not much of a seamstress, my Mom.

Luckily, at that age I’d never heard of the Klan.

And Dave, thanks, but nah, not at the buffet — we don’t have any here anymore, except Chinese ones, which I have been known to visit, and salad bars like Fresh Choice.

Too many of my fellow Crustwoodians whom I agree with today to list.

The Pennys have the worst travel agent, also worst lawyer, doctor, and probably any service provider in town because they start with only those that offer free coffee, and then have to stay with the ones who don’t kick them out.

So, why get off a cruise ship to wander around someplace where you have to pay for coffee?

In fact, I think they’re uncomfortable with most places they’ve never been before — they don’t know where the bathrooms are, or the best pie.

That’s why they vacation in the same spots Ma has taken Joy and Verla since they were girls.

Almost forgot — that’s scary again, "Morgue"ritem!
