I knew a serena once. She was beautiful, tall, dark, caring and intellegent. The perfect example of what a woman should be. I cant condone the tradgic loss of life in this run. Maybe the deceased had some intense burning spark of good buryied deep within them unseen to us. And now they are gone forever, never to redeem themselve in the hearts of family, humanity and the Lord.
G’Day Bwana Quartermain—insomnia beckons as this story becomes a wordy soap opera bordering on the sublime. Now enter phase two of “The Adventure in Luanda” where our boys have to “clear” their names before returning to the bush. I wonder what this “Governor Small” is going to look like…ha, ha, ha!
Alex Raymond’s Jungle Jim is another favourite of mine. Meanwhile Tarzan better get himself & Crispy out of Luanda. I wouldn’t wait around for Gov. Small!

In panel 2 the artist’s doing a pretty good imitation of Hogarth’s Tarzan from many years ago.

Serena and the judge got what was coming to them. It’s the law of the jungle.

Luanda is in Anglola, which in 1962 was a Portuguese colony. SMALL does not seem like a Portuguese name.
