That guy is a jerk. He seems to be killing everything only for his personal enjoyment. If tarzan wasnt there, he would be alone and no one would be around to witness the slaughter and intervene. It should be so that the needlessly killed animals souls should handle the punishment in fiction and reality.
um…no. Kulonga killed Kala because he was hunting for food for his tribe. He was scared off by the approach of the other apes, who heard her cries. And then he kept hunting.
Good morning Tarzanatics. -Good art work again today. I don’t remember the art being this good back when I first saw this strip … guess I’m a better judge of art today????
Where are the rest of the boys? Probably whoopin’ it up at the Malamute Cafe—far from the steaming jungle and in The North country of James Oliver Curwood, running with the pack of Kazan the wolf dog.
For all of you fans who love animals and have lost a pet through the years, I thought you’d enjoy this little quote from Will Rogers(1897-1935)—“If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.”
Thats a good qoute quartermain. Animal conservation and enviornmental awareness is one of the many things i like about this strip. And @ apoi, i started following the strip during the camera film poucher story, and your right; the art was not that good. Even through the serena storyline it was still average. It wasnt til i saw the ship sailing on the ocean that i began noticing a supurb product. I would go as far as to say that tarzan is the best artistic comic in gocomics.com (although, i have not looked at any others).

But why would he shoot Kala? Certainly not for food.
