In this case the “victim” would never remotely understand the reason. As for murder we have in our time seen wildlife murdered on a scale that beggars the imagination. If those murderers were to find themselves on the receiving scale of jungle justice things might change for the better,
Good morning Tarzanatics. -Law of the jungle ??? I’m not sure revenge is embraced by the jungle … I don’t believe animals seek revenge. How about it gang?
Katman, i checked out that phantom. It looks as interesting as heck, but tarzan takes up most of my free time (since i post). I had to cut beetle bailey and rose is rose when i started posting. It wasnt easy, i miss seeing ms. Buxley in her red dress:(
The first thing I thought of was murder but I thnk it is anger and in Tarzan’s mind justice. it’s amzazing I too thought of the Ghost Who Walks for some reason. Think because he is feared, I wondered if Tarzan let out his yell and if any of the hunters cousins were around they would associate it with the the consequences to those who attack the apes.
Uhhhh ….Perhaps so in Orwell’s Animal Farm, but I doubt if these furry eukaryotic descendents are thinking of “Capitalism, Extractionism,” co-operative societies, or for that matter any other aspect of ontological naturalism, ethics. etc … Just don’t give them any reasons … philosophical, physiological, or otherwise … to be in conflict. At best … as long as there is no competition for food and water … animals tolerate each other.

Is it vengeance if the victim doesn’t know the reason?

Law of the Jungle ERB style. This isn’t reality. It’s fantasy that’s about 100 years old.

Whoa, Tarzan commits murder, 1962 strip. It would have never flown past our PC censors nowdays. Hopefully he can murder the PC jerks next.
