Good morning Tarzanatics. -Okay gang ⊠back a year or so ago several of you asked me to show you my work. If you will go to FROG APPLAUSE ⊠click on her blog ⊠then select FA SHOW AND TELL you will see a few examples of my recent efforts.
I think Capt Bilski is somewhat out of it. If I was strung up by pygmies and a very large white guy comes running up to me my first thought would have been âYEAH! Rescue has arrived!â
Were these people pigmies? I thought they were normal size. Tarzans friends were just small, but not pigmies. I donât know the nationality of Bilkski, but a big white guy coming out of the jungle with a huge knife would scare the be-geebers outta me.Not saying that I wouldnât be petrified in that condition anyway.
Bilski doesnât look too much the worse for any âtortureâ inflicted by those evil Gurus, only his uniform seems to have been ravaged! And as far as looks go, he would do very well as a tough-guy in some pulp gangster comic. Not quite rescued yet PatyAnn, weâll probably see some more action before weekâs end. Now the question is can they get onto the âcopter, or make a run through the jungle where the 7 little pygmies are hopefully ready to assist in the escape! The Guruâs wonât stay frightened for longâŠâŠâŠ.Happy Valentineâs Day tribe mates!
I somehow hope that Bilski really is a mean SOB that Tarzan will WANT to throw back to the headhunters. Course it wonât happen because this is a 1963 American strip and â well letâs just say that cartonists back then werenât as cynical about American involvement in places like Africa that they would create a character like that.

Hey, whereâs Bwana Quartermainââstill sleeping it off in the chilly Oregon âjungleâ?
jmcx4 about 13 years ago
@KatmanQuartermain is probably back at camp warming up some C rations. This rescue is light work. Heâll show up when it gets tough.
