HEY GUYS! Thanks for the roof answers yesterday. I’m looking at replacing a 1400-1600 sq ft rancher roof. Shingles and want to find out if there are energy-conserving type. I figure at those costs, I may have to have a migrant-laborer replace patches at a time. Is metal more expensive?

Did anyone notice that the “Chemistry” book changed to “Gilchrist” in the last panel?

@PotrzebieThe family across the street from us went back with a metal roof. Not sure of the cost, but it should last a lifetime. I just went back with asphalt shingles. Ain’t got that much of a “lifetime” left. hahahahaWait, why am I laughing?Keep us posted and Good Luck.

Apparently I’m the only one who got a kick out of Nancy’s teacher’s name, Mr. Devo! (Teaching de-evolution, not doubt!)

Why is a little 8-year-old girl taking chemistry? That’s as bad as Charlie Brown having to read War And Peace.
