“Thoughts of taunting Dawns are often daunting” is a very well-crafted line, and it both flows well from the setup and is perfectly appropriate from Agnes’s character. Bravo, Tony.

all dawns daunt me these days. a bit of coffee and i am ok with a couple of hours after dawn though.

I know this feeling all too well, now especially with working 70+ hour work weeks.

I must add, the last line to me is reminiscent of Edgar Allen Poe or Roald Dahl. Excellent work Mr. Cochran.

After a week of obtaining a desk near a window, I have noticed a change in my sleep pattern. For the better.
