I always put clean clothes in at the right of the closet. Then, as clothes get taken out to be worn, the remaining clothes move to the left. After a period of time, the clothes that I never wear accumulate at the left of the closet.
Another method is to turn around the hangers. Start with all the hooks turned around so it’s more difficult to get them off the rod. As clothes are worn and washed, put them back with the hangers the easy way. After a few months, it will be easy to see which clothes you don’t like or wear.
