$4000 on a shed, a giant fake pumpkin, a ton of lights, etc…..
So, selfish ol’ Burl will keep his $20 worth of mini Hershey bars and peanut butter cups.
Otherwise he would have just bought the cheap Halloween mix at the dollar store.
I’m convinced those cellophaned, chalky candy rolls, tooth-grabbing toffees and neon gum balls are later swept up, dusted off and sent back to some big factory to be re-bagged for next year……
cos NO ONE eats that stuff.

They must’ve bought chocolate. I’m sure if they had Dum-Dums (ONE per visitor..kids) Burl wouldn’t have put up the obstacle course. My guess is that Burl dresses up as the ubiquitos “Ghost with an old bedsheet” and goes out by himself. He’s probably staked out the “good houses” already is ready to push those pesky little ones out of the way in order to snag a fun size Milky Way.
I am speachless here…….Good thing I am typing……. Back to square one with tiny comic size…. and color reset back to grayscale…. UNACCEPTABLE…. so I wont be paying for a PRO membership…….!#$%^.... AND I was expedting to see the 500 strands of pumpkin lights.... giant wood pumpkin cut out....!#$%^…. BUTT….. “Kiss MY Grits”….. Fits…..
I shut off my lights at 8 (1st people came at 6:15 and I wrote down how many and walking or drive-bys) Had the most at 7:30 and 7:40 a few more- total of about 36. Dinette set is a mess today, and hope that was a prank as someone suggested. Past bedtime now- g’night all!
