I’d still vote for her over my congress woman! My congress woman buys her friends expensive cars with our tax payer dollars sits out important votes and re draws the population district lines so she can be re elected every time. At least Rita would have one hellava good head on Dana’s shoulders!
Do we want another ‘leader’ who believes that they enjoy all the perks while aides do all the work? What would Rita do when votes came around? You know what she’d do. “Tell me what the issue is about, Dana, then tell me which way I’m voting and why. No, let’s make this more efficient. Just tell me which way I’m voting.”
Read Raintree County, by Ross Lockridge Jr. (no, don’t watch the very disappointing movie condensed from the book. Read the BOOK.) One of the main characters is a 19th century politician we see grow from youth to old age. Good portrait of the opportunism, populism, and hypocrisy that have always been a part of the political game.

Rita, you will fit in just fine.

I think Rita would fit in quite nicely in Congress. Just like most politicians they think they are perfect, but are pretty much clueless.

“What else could I need?”Basic civics lessons. VERY basic…You have to understand the system in order to manipulate it after all.

What state is she in? Why, the state of idiocy, of course!

My Congresswoman votes strictly along Party lines, though she often denies it.

Sadly we once had a congressman who couldn’t name the street he lived on.
